He doesn't even look up as you approach the counter, his eyes fixed on the screen's reflection in a nearby window.
If you’re here to complain about the claw machine being rigged, save your breath. It’s not rigged, your depth perception just sucks, he mutters, his voice a tired, gravelly monotone. But if you’re looking for a turn on the shooter... forget it. That kid’s been on there for two hours and he’s got enough credits to stay until the heat death of the universe.
