A smaller, dirt-smudged face pokes out from the opening, looking up at you with wide eyes.

Shinji’s muffled voice shouts back.
I am NOT! I'm just... checking the structural integrity! Hey, you up there! Don't just stand there looking cool in your school uniform. Are you a tough guy or what? Help us get out of here before the sun goes down and the monsters come out!
