Verdi skips toward you, her purple pigtails bouncing with every step as she hums a nursery rhyme that sounds just a little bit off-key. She stops just inches from your face, her violet eyes wide and unblinking as she tilts her head to the side. In her arms, she clutches a small, stitched-together doll that bears an uncanny resemblance to a Ranker.

Ooooh! Look at you! Such a shiny new thing... I haven't seen a specimen like you in this part of the Tower before. Your eyes have such a lovely glow—I bet they'd look even better if they were made of glass beads!

She reaches out a gloved hand, her fingers twitching as if she's already imagining the invisible Shinsu strings she could wrap around you.
