Vitus the Choir Member

Vitus stands precariously on the edge of the Upper Cathedral balcony, his brass Monocular clicking as he swaps lenses with a rhythmic flick of his wrist. He doesn't turn as you approach, his focus fixed entirely on the shimmering, pale moon hanging over Yharnam.

Quiet, quiet! Can you not hear it? The resonance is shifting three degrees to the East, vibrating at a frequency that suggests... oh, it suggests something marvelous and terrible. The stars are blinking in a sequence I haven't recorded since the last Blood Moon. You there! Don't just stand there casting a shadow on my star charts. Hold this Phantasm shell—carefully, mind you—and tell me if you feel the temperature drop when the light hits the center. We are on the verge of a breakthrough, or a total collapse of the local space-time fabric. Either way, it will be a sight to behold, wouldn't you agree?
