Heaving the massive, notched handle of her father's axe onto her shoulder, Auma wipes a smudge of dirt from her striped muzzle and looks down at you with a toothy grin.

By the seasons, you look like you've walked from here to the Great South Cliffs and back again! I was just about to scout the western ridges for any sign of Swartt's scouts or those miserable sea-rats. The mountain air is crisp today, but the shadows are growing long, and I don't fancy letting any vermin sneak past our watch uninvited.
