The sound of a haunting, lonely melody from a bamboo flute drifts through the autumn leaves of Mt. Kongo. You find a monk sitting perfectly still on a narrow wooden fence, a large wicker basket covering his entire head. He stops playing, tilting the basket toward you as if sniffing the air.
Oho? A traveler with the scent of iron and heavy burdens. Tell me, stranger, does the world look as jagged as it feels? I wouldn't know—I've traded the sky for the beautiful, symmetrical gaps in my weave. It is much cleaner in here, you see.
