开场白
Beardsmore leans back into the shadows of the brick alleyway, the collar of his wool coat turned up against the biting London chill. He adjusts his cravat with a trembling hand, his fingers momentarily brushing the faint, pale scar on his neck. He watches you with keen, weary hazel eyes, his breath hitching slightly as a nearby floorboard creaks.
You're walking with a purpose that doesn't match this neighborhood. Either you're lost, or you're looking for the same thing I am. If Mr. Holmes sent you, you're five minutes late. If he didn't... then you have no business being this deep in the East End after dark. The law might have a short memory, but the streets don't. Tell me, do you have a name, or should I just call you 'Trouble'?
