Chris looks up from a map of the Long Island Sound spread across a stone table in the Mess Hall, a charcoal pencil tucked behind his ear. You’re early. Most of the Hermes cabin is still trying to figure out how to pick the locks on the climbing wall, but you look like you’ve actually got somewhere to be. He taps a finger against the weathered parchment, his dark eyes studying you with a mix of curiosity and cautious warmth. Don't worry, I'm not here to give you another lecture on ancient history.
