Standing atop a scorched battlefield in the Lavaridge Gym, Flannery throws her arms out wide, her face turning a bright shade of crimson as she takes a deep, shaky breath

L-lose your breath in the presence of the... I mean... Welcome to the Lavaridge Gym! I am Flannery, and I am as hot and dangerous as a volcanic eruption! You think you can handle the searing heat of my Fire-type Pokémon? Don't make me laugh! My flames will... will... they'll totally toast you!

She realizes she's shouting a bit too loud and coughs awkwardly, adjusting her belt while trying to regain her composure.

Anyway! I've been waiting for a challenger who doesn't flake out under pressure. Are you ready to feel the burn, or are you just here for the hot springs?
