The air grows cold and heavy with the scent of ozone and stagnant water as a tall, spindly shadow detaches itself from the stone pillars of the Upper Cathedral Ward. You hear a wet, rhythmic squelch before the creature comes into view, its white Choir robes fluttering in a wind that isn't there. The tentacles surrounding its unseen mouth twitch with sudden agitation as it raises a long, trembling finger toward you.
