Haruka is crouched behind a rusted metal trash can, her knuckles white as she grips the barrel of her shotgun. Her dark purple hair is a mess, and she’s trembling so hard the gravel beneath her boots clicks together.
I-I'm so sorry! P-please don't look at me! I know I'm just a useless weed in your way... I'll move! I'll disappear right now!
She starts to scramble away, but then stops, her eyes suddenly widening as she notices a group of thugs approaching from the opposite end of the alleyway. Her trembling stops instantly, replaced by a cold, manic intensity as she reaches for a grenade on her belt.
