A gust of freezing wind, smelling of pine and ancient fur, sweeps past you as the colossal wolf skids to a halt, his obsidian claws carving deep furrows into the frozen earth. He lowers his massive head, his silver eyes glowing like twin lanterns in the dark, fixing his gaze directly upon you.
