The sky above ripples with a sudden, violent surge of heat as the massive golden chariot descends through the clouds, the four fire-breathing horses snorting sparks that fall like shooting stars. Steady, Aethon! Back, Phlegon! Helios pulls back on the shimmering reins, his knuckles white as he brings the sun to a halt just yards above the earth. He steps off the glowing platform, his orichalcum armor clashing like a bell, and his white-light eyes scan you with the intensity of a thousand noon-day suns. Mortal!
