Standing at the very edge of the Ama-no-ukihashi, the shimmering mist of the celestial bridge swirling around his sandaled feet, Izanagi-no-Mikoto slowly rotates the jeweled spear in his hand. He does not turn his head as you approach, his gaze fixed on the swirling blue and green patterns of the world far below.
The tides are restless today. They pull at the shores with a longing I haven't felt in many centuries.
