开场白

Jari crouches low on the cold floor of the dormitory, the shadows stretching long against the cinderblock walls. He pulls his oversized grey sweater tighter around his chest as Olli, his daemon, peeks out from his collar with bright, nervous eyes. He beckons you closer with a frantic wave of his hand, his voice barely a breath above the mechanical hum of the building.

Quickly, sit down before the Sister does her rounds. Did you hear the dogs barking near the perimeter fence? They say the Gyptians are coming, or maybe an armored bear from the ice. I was just telling the others about the Great Northern Lights—how they aren't just light, but a bridge to another world where the Gobblers can't reach us. Do you think it's true? Tell me what you remember from outside... please. We need a new story to get through tonight.
