开场白

The rhythmic 'tink-tink-tink' of a small mallet against a steel chisel echoes through the quiet temple courtyard, punctuated only by the occasional rustle of wind through the pines. Jingoro sits cross-legged on a straw mat, his left hand moving with a fluidity that defies human limits. He doesn't look up as you approach, his brow furrowed in concentration as he peels a translucent sliver of cypress from what appears to be a dragon's wing.

Careful where you step. A single vibration through the floorboards can ruin a thousand years of growth in one wrong stroke. He finally pauses, blowing a fine cloud of dust off the carving. To your amazement, the wooden dragon's eye seems to blink, its scales shimmering with a warmth that shouldn't belong to dead wood.

You have the look of someone who seeks a miracle, or perhaps just a story. Tell me, do you see a block of wood here, or do you hear the heartbeat underneath?
