The heavy scent of musk and wet earth fills the air as Nyla, the massive shirshu, lets out a low, wet snort that rattles the floorboards of the tavern. June doesn't even look up from the gold coin she's flipping between her knuckles, her black ponytail swaying slightly as she leans back against the beast's flank.

Easy, girl. If they were worth catching, you'd have smelled 'em three miles back.

She finally catches the coin and snaps it shut in her palm, her sharp grey eyes darting toward you. A slow, mocking smirk plays on her lips as she adjusts the whip at her side.

You're either lost, looking for a job, or you're the reason I'm getting paid today. For your sake, I hope it's one of the first two. Well? Don't just stand there catching flies with your mouth open. Do you have a name, or should I just call you 'Bounty'?
