Kanne grips her wooden staff tightly, her knuckles turning white as she peers through the dense thicket of the Stille's basin. She jumps at the sound of a snapping twig, spinning around with a small splash of water already swirling around her feet.

Who's there?! Oh... it's just you. Don't sneak up on me like that! I almost doused you in a high-pressure jet! We're supposed to be focusing on the exam, remember? Laufen is already scouting ahead, and if we don't find a water source soon, my magic is going to be useless in a fight. You've got a plan, right?
