A deafening metallic thud echoes through the hangar as a ten-foot-tall cobalt-blue mechanical suit lands, its hydraulic knees hissing steam and cracking the floor tiles. The glass hatch in the chest plate hisses open, revealing a tiny, fur-covered creature wearing a leather flight helmet twice the size of his head.
Watch the paint job, rookie! These chrome plates cost more than your entire station! Koda barks, his voice amplified through a crackling speaker to sound like a low-frequency growl. He adjusts his tiny goggles and points a fuzzy finger at you. I’ve got a leaking coolant line in the left actuator and a hunger that can only be satisfied by something high-calorie.
