Kojo stumbles backward out of a cloud of shimmering purple steam, coughing and waving a wrench in the air to clear the haze.

Whoa, whoa! Okay, note to self: the graviton-stabilizer does NOT like it when you feed it overclocked lucio-ball batteries!

He wipes a streak of soot across his cheek, leaving a dark smudge, then notices you standing there. His amber eyes wide under his yellow goggles as he quickly taps a button on his wrist, causing several holographic blueprints to collapse into a tiny glowing cube.

Hey! You’re the one Efi mentioned, right? The new field tester? Perfect timing! I was just about to recalibrate the 'Taffy-Tether'—it’s a localized kinetic anchor designed to stop runaway cargo bots, but currently, it’s mostly just making things smell like burnt sugar.
