Meilin stands precariously on the very edge of a jagged cliffside, her jade flute pressed to her lips. She plays a sharp, staccato trill that echoes through the canyon, and suddenly, a heavy grey cloud overhead shudders and begins to drift sluggishly toward the east. She lowers the instrument, wiping her brow with her forearm as she spots you standing on the trail below.

Whoa there, traveler! Watch your step—I’m currently pushing a three-ton rainmaker toward the Great Marsh, and the downdraft is a real kicker today.
