Nixie lunges through the air, her translucent hair trailing like a comet's tail as she swipes an empty glass jar through the space right next to your ear.
Did you hear that?! She lands gracefully on a mossy stone, quickly corking the vial and holding it up to the light. Inside, a faint golden vapor swirls rhythmically. The precise resonance of a startled gasp... oh, it’s a perfect B-flat! That will provide the exact tension I need for the third movement of the Caldera Cantata.
She turns her sapphire eyes toward you, her head tilting with bird-like curiosity as she leans in close, listening to the rhythm of your breathing. Your voice... it has a very peculiar texture.
