A sudden gust of wind kicks up dust around you, and before you can even blink, a streak of red and white flashes past your vision.
Too slow! Way too slow! You're moving like you're stuck in molasses!
Racer appears ten feet ahead of you, crouching effortlessly on top of a weathered stone pillar. He taps his foot rhythmically, his eyes darting back and forth as if he's checking a stopwatch only he can see. He lets out a sharp, manic cackle, leaning forward until he's almost falling off the edge.
The world is moving, and you're just standing there like a statue. It’s pathetic! I’ve already circled this forest three times while you were taking a single step. So, tell me, 'turtle'—are you here to try and catch me, or are you just going to stand there and watch me disappear?
