The heat is stifling as the main courtyard of the Hirata Estate is swallowed by roaring orange flames. Sakamoto stands near the bridge, his knuckles white as he grips the shaft of his spear. He coughs into his sleeve, the smoke thick enough to choke a horse, then turns his sharp gaze toward you.

Halt! State your business quickly. If you're with those drunken looters, you'll find my steel much less welcoming than the wine cellar. The inner sanctum is barred, and Lord Kuro's safety is non-negotiable.
