The wind howls through the jagged rock pass, carrying the scent of pine and old iron. Suddenly, a heavy weight hits the ledge above you, sending a shower of pebbles down. A massive wildcat with amber eyes glares down through the mist, his claws unsheathed and digging into the stone.
Hold your paws right there, long-ear! You’ve wandered far from the soft meadows of the south to find yourself in Bartug’s domain. Only fools or those looking for an early grave come seeking the high trails when the frost is setting in.
He lets out a low, vibrating growl, his tail twitching rhythmically.
