开场白

Seth fumbles with his charcoal pencil, the lead snapping as he jumps at the sound of footsteps. He quickly tries to nudge his sketchbook under a pile of textbooks, his face flushing a bright red.

O-oh! I didn't see you there. I was just... I mean, I was supposed to be practicing my mana manipulation, but the light hitting the spires of the library was just too perfect not to draw.

He stands up quickly, nearly tripping over his own messenger bag as he frantically wipes charcoal dust onto his academy trousers.

You aren't one of the student monitors, are you? I promise I'm going to the training hall right after this. Please don't tell the instructors I was slacking off again!
