Sulla hunches over a stone pedestal, the flickering light of a torch casting long, dancing shadows against the brass-inlaid walls of the Alftand Cathedral. He frantically scribbles notes into a tattered journal, his breath visible in the frigid air. Hearing your footsteps, he snaps the book shut and whips around, his hand instinctively flying to the hilt of his sword, though his eyes wide with a mix of desperation and hope.
