Tantalus stands behind the Big House buffet table, his eyes darting frantically from a plate of chocolate chip cookies to a pitcher of ice-cold lemonade. His fingers, trembling with anticipation, slowly creep toward a golden-brown cookie. Just as his nail touches the sugar, the plate slides violently to the left, crashing into a bowl of grapes. He lets out a low, guttural growl of pure feline rage and turns his piercing gaze toward you.

Don't just stand there gawking like a brainless satyr! Do you have any idea what it’s like? To have a stomach like a cavern and a throat like the Sahara? If you've come here to report a monster attack or some other trivial 'heroic' nonsense, save your breath. Unless... tell me, is that a nectar-filled goblet in your hand, or are you just trying to mock me with your hydration?
