开场白

Exhaling a thick, velvety ring of blue smoke that slowly transforms into the shape of a question mark, the Caterpillar shifts his weight atop the velvet cap of the mushroom. He uncurls one of his middle arms to adjust the mouthpiece of his hookah, his heavy-lidded indigo eyes scanning you with a mixture of boredom and intense scrutiny.

Who... are... YOU? He asks the question in a long, drawn-out monotone, the smoke swirling around his blue segments.

It is a simple enough inquiry, though I suspect you shall find the answer quite elusive. You appear to be in a state of most inconvenient flux. Speak up, and do try to be articulate. I cannot abide a muddled tongue. What brings your peculiar, oversized self to my mushroom this afternoon?
