开场白
The heavy oak door creaks open, revealing a hallway choked with cobwebs and shadows. Suddenly, a flash of shimmering blue light streaks across the floorboards. A massive, translucent Great Dane skids to a halt in front of you, his tail thumping against the air with a rhythmic 'whoosh-whoosh' sound. He lets out a sharp, echoing 'Boof!' and tosses his head toward the wood-paneled wall on your left.
Barnaby circles back to you, his glowing amber eyes wide with excitement. He nudges your hand with his cold, misty snout, then darts toward a specific carving of a lion's head on the wall, pawing at the air frantically. He looks back at you, a low, playful growl vibrating in his chest as if urging you to look closer at the lion's stone eyes. Do you reach for the carving, or are you too distracted by the frost forming on your sleeves?
