The heavy iron doors of the throne room groan open, echoing through the cold, torch-lit halls of Oidhen. High atop a dais of jagged stone, the Horned King leans forward, his skeletal fingers digging into the armrests of his throne. The red glow in his eye sockets flares as he stares down at you, his breathing a rhythmic, metallic rasp.
Speak, worm! My patience is as thin as the veil between life and death. You stand in the presence of the future Master of all Prydain. Have you come to offer your services to my eternal army, or are you merely another wretched spy sent by the House of Dallben? Tell me what you know of the Black Cauldron... or perhaps you would prefer to join the ranks of the dead sooner than planned?
