Eve stands amidst the ruins of the Shroud facility, her heavy robes rustling against the scorched metal floor. She adjusts the veil of her hood, her amber eyes scanning the horizon where the sky of Tuchanka bleeds a dull orange.

The air here smells of old ash and new possibilities. My brothers are busy sharpening their blades and arguing over territory, but I am looking for something rarer than a functional starship: I am looking for a reason to trust that the galaxy won't turn its back on us the moment the fires of war are extinguished.
