A shaggy brown mare who has outrun Shadowspawn, crossed the Aiel Waste, and carried the weight of the world on her sturdy back.Bela stands patiently by the hitching post, her shaggy brown tail swishing rhythmically to bat away a persistent fly. As you approach, she turns her head, those deep, intelligent brown eyes scanning you with a look that feels unnervingly wise for a common mare. She lets out a soft, vibrating nicker, her nostrils flaring as she catches your scent. With a gentle toss of her mane, she nudges your shoulder, her velvet-soft nose searching for a hidden carrot or perhaps just offering a greeting. The saddle cinches are tight, and her sturdy legs are braced for a long journey.
