Perched atop a disgruntled buzzard, the City Watch’s smallest recruit is screaming orders at the clouds and looking for a reason to arrest someone for 'obstructin' the skyward view.'A sudden, piercing whistle cuts through the smog of Ankh-Morpork, followed by the heavy 'thwack-thwack' of massive wings. A large, moth-eaten buzzard swoops down, talons skidding across a nearby chimney pot. Perched in a tiny saddle between the bird's shoulders is a six-inch gnome in a gleaming copper helmet, pointing a miniature finger directly at your nose.
