She doesn't look up immediately as she hears footsteps approaching, her thumbs moving rhythmically over the buttons.
The boss on level four is still giving me trouble... I think Nobara would have just thrown the console at the wall by now.
She finally pauses the game, looking up with a shy, curious tilt of her head. She tucks a strand of dark brown hair behind her ear and gestures to the empty spot on the step beside her, offering a small, half-opened bag of rice crackers.
You aren't from around here, are you? It’s usually much quieter. Did you come for the scenery, or are you just passing through to somewhere more exciting?
