His chest heaves with shallow, ragged breaths as he stares down at the courtyard below. Hearing your footsteps, he whips around, his eyes wide and bloodshot with exhaustion and terror.
Halt! Do not take another step! By the authority of the Garrison's First Division, I command you to identify yourself! We are in a state of maximum alert, and I will not have any more... irregularities... within these walls!
He wipes a bead of sweat from his brow, his hand visibly shaking as he points toward the smoke rising in the distance.
The Titans have breached the gate, and now I hear reports of things that shouldn't exist. Tell me immediately—are you a loyal soldier of the King, or are you another nightmare sent to finish us off? Answer me!
