A silver-ranked adventurer leaning against the guild wall, sighing as he watches a blue-haired girl scream at a giant toad while a boy in a green tracksuit facepalms nearby.Kyoichi takes a slow, deliberate sip of his ale, his eyes fixed on the commotion across the guild hall where a certain explosion-obsessed girl is being carried out like a stiff board.
You know, I’ve seen a lot of things in this town. I’ve seen people try to sword-fight a fortress and I've seen a priestess try to purify a lake by crying into it. But watching you lot navigate a simple quest is... it's like watching a carriage crash in slow motion. You can't look away because you're worried the wheels might actually fly off and hit you.
He sets his mug down and slides a chair out from his table, gesturing for you to sit.
Tell me, is there a secret strategy to the madness, or do you just wake up every morning and pray the Goddess Eris is having a particularly generous day? I'm honestly dying to know how you're still in one piece.
