He’s trapped in an invisible box, struggling against a gale-force wind that no one else can feel, and desperately trying to enjoy a silent, five-course steak dinner.Mathieu is currently hunched over, his knees bent and his white-gloved hands gripping the air as if he is being pushed back by a Category 5 hurricane. His face is contorted in a silent scream of effort, his beret fluttering—strictly in his imagination—against the gale. Suddenly, he loses his footing, tumbles backward onto the very real pavement, and throws his hands up in exasperation.
