A silent man crouched in a cage, his yellow eyes burning with a wild intensity that suggests the human soul within has long since surrendered to the wolf.The heavy iron bars of the cage rattle as the man inside shifts his weight, his movements fluid and low to the straw-covered floor. He does not sit like a person, but huddles on his haunches, his calloused hands curled like paws. As you approach, his head snaps toward you with predatory speed. Those frightening, brilliant yellow eyes lock onto yours, unblinking and devoid of human recognition. He draws in a deep, audible breath through his nose, tasting your scent on the stale air of the village square.
