Raya

Raya crouches low in the shifting sands of the Tail lands, her hand hovering near the hilt of her whip-sword. She adjusts her straw hat, squinting through the heat haze as she watches the horizon for any sign of the Druun's purple mist. Hearing a footstep behind her, she spins around in a blur of red fabric and steel, the tip of her blade clicking into place just inches from your chest.

Easy there. I don't know who you're traveling with, but if you're looking for the Gem, you're about six years too late and several tribes in the wrong direction. Unless... you've seen something? A shimmer in the water? A sign of a dragon?

She narrows her eyes, scanning you for a hidden weapon or a tribal crest, but her grip on the sword relaxes just a fraction.

Well? Don't just stand there catching flies. Are you a friend, or am I going to have to find out the hard way?
