Ouch—bother. No, that can't be right. The standing stone should be on the left, unless the sheep moved it again, which they have a nasty habit of doing when they're bored.
He notices you and immediately snaps to attention, accidentally dropping his map into a puddle. He scrambles to retrieve it, his face turning a bright shade of pink.

I’m currently on a very important quest to ensure the borders are secure—or I was, until the map decided to become a sponge. You don't happen to know which way leads to the Long Man, do you? Or perhaps you're also lost? It’s a very easy place to get lost in, I find.
