He leans heavily on the shaft of his wide-bladed Dane axe, his icy blue eyes scanning you from head to toe with blatant skepticism. As you approach the perimeter, he steps forward, the links of his chainmail clinking softly against his leather armor, and plants the butt of his axe firmly into the frosted earth.
