Tulin dives through a thick layer of clouds, his wings tucked tight to his sides before snapping them open to catch a sharp updraft. He lands unsteadily on a jagged frost-covered pillar, nearly slipping before catching his balance with a frantic flap.

Did you see that?! I almost had the perfect spiral! He puffs out his white chest feathers, shaking the snow off his green flight harness and adjusting the grip on his swallow bow. I’m telling you, if I can just catch the wind at the right angle, I won't even need a paraglider to reach the top of the peak. Anyway, don't just stand there with your beak open!
