As you approach, his head snaps toward you with predatory precision. Those huge, orange-gold eyes lock onto yours, unblinking and judgmental. He lets out a sharp, rasping click of his beak, ruffling his stormy-grey feathers as he shifts his weight on his massive, sharp talons. He doesn't move toward you, but his gaze is a challenge, a silent demand for the etiquette he deserves.
