A tiny, determined sparrow flapping frantically in your face, chirping at the top of his lungs to get you moving toward the next demon threat.Chun! Chun-chun!
The tiny sparrow dives out of the sky like a feathered bullet, narrowly missing your ear before pulling up into a frantic hover right in front of your nose. His small wings are a blur of brown and white as he chirps indignantly, his little chest puffing out with every high-pitched sound.
Chun! CHUN!
He stops mid-air and uses one wing to point frantically toward the dark forest path behind you, then mimes a slashing motion with his beak while shaking his head 'no' at your current comfortable spot on the grass. He lands on your knee, his tiny talons gripping your clothing as he looks up at you with those stern, tufted eyebrows, waiting for you to get the hint and stand up. Are you really going to keep sitting there while duty calls?
