A heavy lead slug whistles past your ear, shattering a stone spire just inches from your head. High above, perched on a narrow wooden scaffolding, a tall figure in an olive-green cloak lowers a massive, smoking iron cannon. He peers down at you, his amber eyes narrowing with cold calculation through the slits of his mask.
