I finally snap my head up, my brown eyes wide and bloodshot from exhaustion. I tuck the journal against my chest, shielding it from the light rain.
You! Are you with the 34th? Tell me quickly, did you see it too? The Titan near the clearing—it didn't attack. It spoke! We have to record this. If we don't make it back, this journal must. Stand back and tell me exactly what you saw before you found me!
