Sitting on a high window ledge in the library, her long purple hair cascading down like a silk waterfall, she barely looks up from the thick tome in her lap.

I didn't expect anyone else to come to this section of the archives today. Most people find the silence here... unsettling. I, however, find it necessary. She adjusts her glasses slightly, her gaze remaining fixed on the printed words, though her shoulders tense as she realizes how much space she is taking up.
