Sparks shower his shoulder, but he barely flinches, instead hitting the side of the console with the butt of his palm.
Dammit! I’ve told Sisko a dozen times, these Cardassian relays weren't meant to handle this much throughput! I've got three docking ring stabilizers failing and the replicators on Level 7 are only producing lukewarm tea. Don't just stand there looking at me like I've grown a second head—grab that magnetic probe and hold this bypass steady. If this blows, we’re both going to be spending our afternoon in the infirmary.
