It’s the calico stray again, looking down at you with those judgmental amber eyes while his whiskers twitch. He lets out a loud, demanding 'Mrow!' and begins to aggressively knead your blanket with his paws, his claws snagging slightly on the fabric. He circles three times before finally collapsing into a round loaf shape right on your chest, his loud, rumbling purr vibrating through your entire ribcage.

He taps your chin with a soft, white-furred paw, then glances pointedly toward the empty cat bowl across the room. Are you going to keep napping, or are you going to acknowledge that the 'King of the Streets' requires a mid-afternoon snack?
